Project Description
Dior Spring Summer 2016
The dior spring summer collection of 2016 involved over 35 custom window displays across the western north america region. With the use of parametric computational tools (Rhino and Grasshopper) every window measured in three dimensions was fitted with a custom LED light tube product display. All designs deployed versions of the displays from a list of pre-designed archetypes, for example Circle, Oval, Square or various alternatives involving 1 or 2 mannequins. The design process was streamlined with Dior’s executive team to move from concept to construction in a seamless way using cutting edge software tools to determine the fabrication process for each of the windows. Images are from the Bellagio deployment in Las Vegas Nevada.
